Hi there! I'm Lisa, proud mom to a teenage boy, Patient Coordinator at a stem cell regenerative therapy medical facility and I've been blogging about beauty for nearly a decade.

I lived most of my life in Northern California until July of 2020. Now I am located just outside of Boston, MA.

New OPI Nail Envy Nail Strengthener Strength + Color: Review And Swatches - Nail Envy Bubble Bath

Recently OPI released 4 new Nail Envy nail treatments in color. Now I’ll be honest, I never tried the original OPI Nail Envy. While my skin needs some help, I guess I got decently strong nails in return. Because I can’t properly review a nail strengthening system or treatment, this post is more to show the shades OPI Nail Envy is now available in.

Opi Nail Envy, Nail Envy In Color

I do hear that a lot of people out there swear by the original OPI Nail Envy, so I would hope these reach those standards, but with a touch of color. These shades are inspired by of-the-moment creamsicle hued and pink quartz spring runway looks, this first-of-its-kind collection includes classic OPI favorite shades like Hawaiian Orchid, Samoan Sand,  and Bubble Bath, plus a Nail Envy-only exclusive offering,  Pink to Envy. Simply apply this innovative two-in-one nail strengthener plus color lacquer directly onto nails to add some much needed muscle to your manicure.

Let’s take a look at these 4 shades of Nail Envy.  All photos are done without top coat so what you see is purely the new Nail Envy shades.

OPI Nail Envy Pink To Envy is a very lightly tinted pink. I used 2 coats for this photo. Honestly, on my nails I didn’t see much of a pink tint at all.

Opi Nail Envy Bubble Bath Nail Strengthener 0.5 Oz

Nail Envy Bubble Bath is a pale baby pink.  The original Bubble Bath is actually one of my most used OPI shades, so I was happy to see it was created into a Nail Envy shade. I used 2 coats for this photo.

OPI Nail Envy Hawaiian Orchid is a light mauve.  I used 2 coats for this photo.  Hawaiian Orchid is another OPI shade I actually wear a decent amount when I need a neutral shade, so I can see this being another popular pick for a colored Nail Envy shade.

Based on color alone – these are decent picks for a Nail Envy set. It is convenient for those who use Nail Envy and want a little color with their nail strengthener.  I don’t think this is a bad concept at all and for those that use and love OPI Nail Envy, it would be nice to see this collection expanded into more shades, at least the core colors OPI offers.

I wish I could offer more for the treatment itself, but as I said, that’s difficult for me to do since I don’t have weak, brittle nails. I just don’t feel my results would be accurate because of that.

I will say that because of the price tag (I really didn’t know OPI Nail Envy was that pricey) I would skip Pink with Envy since I didn’t really see much color added, so for that price – if you have the original, you can skip Pink To Envy.  The rest are a toss up.  If you like Nail Envy but want to cut out a step and use Bubble Bath, Samoan Sand or Hawaiian Orchid as your mani color (or even a base for a glitter topper or nail art) then this might be worth it.
